Design Notes

Herbik is a warm, bouyant serif that explores the types of the Dutch Baroque, largely framed through the work of Miklos Kis — most commonly known as the Janson types. Herbik’s often top-heavy letterforms combine lively exuberance with more sober, tempered proportions and robust serifs to achieve a versatile and contemporary workhorse.
